This special snack or sweet holiday gift in your mouth is a healthy dark chocolate bark with almonds, pistachios, raisins& dried cranberries & pistachios.
Dark chocolate is made from the seed of the cocoa tree and is one of the best sources of antioxidants on the planet. Studies show that REAL dark chocolate in moderation (not the sugary junk) may improve your health...plus usually when you simply make homemade stuff it is typically healthier 🤩

- 2 cups dark chocolate at least 70%
- 1 cup mixed almonds dried cranberries & shelled pistachios (pro tip: this is the combo in the backcountry bundle trail mix from Whole Foods so I just bought that !) Click HERE for the same trail mix!
Slowly melt chocolate on a double boiler or in in small increments in the micro ....pour melted Dark chocolate onto a wax paper on a cookie sheet & used spatula to more or less spread it out into a rectangle. Chill in fridge or freezer for 15-30 min or until it hardens then cut or break it up into pieces ! Enjoy in *small* portions!
You can use any combo of nuts + dried fruit you'd like but here are some good pairings: just cut up the dried fruit into bite sized pieces!
- cashew + dried cherries
- macadamia nut + crystallized pineapple
- almond + golden raisins
- peanut + banana chips
- walnut + dried mangos
- pecans + apricots
- hazelnuts + goji berries
