The largest jackfruit recorded weighed almost 100lbs😱 These guys are seriously HUGE - the edible pods inside taste like a combo of a firm banana + pineapple + mango but are also delicious cooked as a savory item with barbecue sauce for things like tacos bc it shreds nicely 🤩 !

This guy took me a solid 45 minutes to break down there is an incredibly sticky sap on the stem & inside the core that you can only get off with oil. So you have to oil your palms & the knife before you break it down but even then I was sticky Susan over here😂 so delicious though we’ve been eating it plain & putting it in
smoothies YUM!
